Trade-mark Applicant - The person who Applies for the Trademark DEXTURE is called a Trademark Applicant. Once I get something done (hopefully tonight or tomorrow), I will upload an update, and put it in WIP for some feedback. Some important terms and facts to be understood while checking the information about DEXTURE Trademark are Stated below :. Another reason for sculpt is that I can customise it over the entire mesh to make it look more real, rather than just tile or have a HUGE normal map, and it will allow me to do sand up the edges of the words as well. I think the way I am looking at going at the moment, is a combination of sculpt and normal mapping with noise. Just have to fix up a tecture that works better with sculpt. I started mucking around with the sculpt tool which seems easy to use, and came up with some pretty good (test) results fast. With displacement maps I have noticed there are a few weird things happen, and I tried using the displacement maps but mapping them to normal, however, I found that for the grains of sand etc (the extreemly small changes) it worked fine, however, for the ripples in the sand etc (that are larger and need to look more 3d), it just didnt look right. Thats pretty cool to be able to bake a map, however, you still need to create the high poly object to begin with, and in my case that wont be an option, as on an object as large as a landscape into the sunset, the poly count would be too hight to work with anyhow. Aww, sweet… I checked out bump and normal maps in the wiki, I thought they both worked like the bump maps, and I havn’t used them since baking was introduced.
